| TIPS ON INSERTING YOUR JEWELRY |
- The most important thing one can do is to have a
clean hands and clean jewelry. Wash both your hands
, the pierced area and jewelry with antibacterial
soap.
- Pinch the skin next to the pierced area with your
thumb and index finger and with your jewelry in your
other hand insert one end of the jewelry into one
hole of the piercing and release the pinch.
- While you are inserting the jewelry, take your
index finger that was used to pinch and massage the
opposite hole until the jewelry starts to come out.
- Once the jewelry exits the other end either screw
on or snap in your ball.. refer to diagram from the
sideshowstyles site that you did on removing the bead.
- Once your jewelry is in place, clean your jewelry
and are around the piercing one more time to reduce
chances for infection
